Don was very accommodating and did a great job refinishing our buffet table. The job was done in the time frame quoted.

It’s a hike to get to Don’s shop, but the work he does is worth the effort. We had a bedside cabinet that I had ruined with a leaky CPAP machine and a gate leg table that lost a gate. Don and his apprentices repaired both to better than new condition. If you have fine, real wood furniture, Don is your man. The pricing seems a bit high…until you see the results. Then you realize the cost is almost a bargain!

Don did a wonderful job on an old antique Brunswick phonograph cabinet. There was some wooden shelves and supports that needed to be rebuilt and at 100+ years old it needed a little refinishing. The color came out great and it was a joy talking with him about the project.

My antiques were SHATTERED in a recent move. The china cabinet couldn't even "stand." (It had to be placed upside down. So, not only were my antiques unusable, I thought their value was gone. HOWEVER, within a short period of time, understanding, and EXPERTISE my antiques are now home. You cannot even tell anything was ever wrong with them! I HIGHLY recommend OLD VIRGINIA WOODWORKING. Five stars is not enough. I give them 100 stars or even more. Thank you, OLD VIRGINIA WOODWORKING. I cried when I saw their work (and hugged the woodworker). P.S. NEVER use Nationwide Movers or Jackson Movers.

Don repaired a china cabinet door for me that had been broken. He did an excellent job of repairing it and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs furniture repairing.
