I recently had Don refinish a 35 year oak dining room table that had seen years of homework, family meals and an occasional household project. I found Old Virginia Woodworking via the Internet. I am not one to casually select a vendor using this method but I was impressed with the depth of experience Don demonstrated and his commitment to supporting other craftsmen in what I consider the "art" of woodworking. I can't recommend Old Virginia Woodworking enough! Quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and excellent customer service! I am renovating an old 1904 schoolhouse, and wanted a telephone niche made, like the old Sears Roebuck houses had. I talked with Don, sent some pictures of what I was looking for, he came up with the design, and the finished product is gorgeous! Just what I was looking for! I am thrilled with the finished niche! Don takes the art of woodworking very seriously, and his work is flawless! Highly recommend!

I had 2 furniture pieces that had damage. My table had a tackiness from when it was moved mid summer from OK. My cedar chest had damage to veneer and water damage to the side. You would never know they had damage! So pleased with the workmanship
